Jordan Alamat | tornadojally

med our grand entrance perfectly with the music. He was ready to go when rain was potentially causing our timing to change, and absolutely nailed the ceremony music. Everyone raved about how great he is. Great communication, fantastic energy, and if you’re looking for your DJ, this guy is it.

for it. Jordan and I used to work together at Go 96.3 (R.I.P. good radio stations) and we've always bonded over shared liked songs and artists. I knew he would play what we wanted, but still be able to read the crowd to keep the dance floor packed all night. A TRUE DJ!!  Jordan nailed every weird request we had for him. From a tribute mash-up of songs for my dad to letting our maid of honor do her best The 1975 impression on stage to end the night. He's truly the most personable and professional DJ out there. HIRE JORDAN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!

a lull. Everyone was raving about him and nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. Great guy and super easy to work with!!

mixing seamlessly between songs to keep the party going. He is excellent acting as the "host" of the reception and ceremony, making everything run extremely smoothly from wedding vows to first dances and beyond. I still have multiple people reaching out to tell me how AWESOME our wedding DJ was. Seriously, just book him now before someone else does!

res about making your night perfect and is incredibly easy to work with. He was fantastic at reading the room, fielding guest requests, and serving as a flawless emcee. He has a unique ability to make everyone feel seen and included in the celebration. If you want a guaranteed amazing party, I cannot recommend Jordan highly enough!

out all of our meetings prior to the wedding and he just understood my vision for my wedding immediately, and it made the experience so incredible. He is the perfect mix of fun, communicative, and professional, which helped as a bride planning a wedding so much! There are many DJ's out there yes. But they don't perform like Jordan trust me! The only thing people could talk about after my wedding was how incredible Jordan was. I personally have never been one to stay on the dance floor for the entirety of a dance before but I just could NOT leave my dance floor having Jordan, and our dance floor was filled the entire night. Even our introverted guests were getting low on the dance floor yall. Something else I love about Jordan is he doesn't just play a set playlist. Not only does he actually DJ but he absolutely knows how to read a room and figure out the demographic of the room and how to get them moving! Which is something I appreciated so much because our wedding had kids, college students, uncles, grandparents, etc. AND we had a cross-cultural wedding. This was something that I was worried I'd have to explain because it can be hard to gauge but Jordan just knew exactly what to do and he really understood the assignment here. Jordan is not only amazing for your dance floor. He made our ceremony music and sound logistics so smooth. He was so incredible at working with our other musicians and anybody giving speeches. Our guests got so crazy over our grand entrances and introducing speeches because Jordan just knows how to get a crowd going! Needless to say. I could really say so much more. But in short: if you want a showstopper and HYPE wedding --> hire Jordan. If you want a boring wedding --> don't hire Jordan. So basically = HIRE JORDAN!!! You will not regret it!

ng sure everything flowed perfectly. The recommendations he gives are so helpful (especially for someone who isn’t the best organizer/planner). He is truly so talented and delivered beyond our expectations. I can’t recommend him enough. If I could give 100 stars I would.

he was the best DJ they had experienced and I completely agree (although I’m biased). I didn’t want the typical wedding playlist; Jordan understood and fully delivered! I recommend him to all of my friends, book him - you won’t regret it!!

lead up to our wedding and the day of, we had a packed dance floor all night and it was because of his choices that we were able to just focus on dancing, being with our guests and having a great night! Could not recommend him strongly enough!

as the man for the job. Not only did he make the entire planning process easy, but his energy as a person is so fun and infectious that we had no doubt that he would curate the perfect vibe for our day. And curate he did: the 2010s hits were hitting, the lighting was impeccable, and the dance floor stayed packed all night long. It feels wrong to distill what he does to just DJing, because he truly brought an energy to the day that went far beyond the music. I think the pics speak for themselves! We ❤️ tornadojally and can’t recommend him highly enough!

music, and his energy was contagious. He was kind, funny, professional, and so easy to work with. Everything ran seamlessly—from the ceremony to the reception. The ceremony audio was crystal clear, and we never had to worry about a thing. Our guests had an absolute blast, and we received so many compliments about the music. Thank you, Jordan, for helping make our wedding unforgettable. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing wedding DJ!

ly STILL talk about what an amazing job he did! He brings the most positive vibes and matches exactly what you’re wanting for music! I cannot thank Jordan enough for making the contract and communication process completely smooth. He’s hilarious and is always down for a good time. I highly recommend Jordan to anyone I know seeking a DJ for any event. Jordan is the GOAT!!!!

r reception to compliment how great he was. He was funny, easy to work with, prompt with responses and seemed genuinely excited to help cultivate the vibe we were going for on our day. A great hype-man, a cool dude and a very talented DJ.

Jordan turned the basement of a former nunnery in Amsterdam into a sweaty freak-out for like four hours. Funk hits. Fergalicious. Phoenix. We had it all.  He gave us what we asked for sonically while also, in some instances, saving us from ourselves. Sometimes, Petey Pablo just isn’t what the crowd is responding to. Sometimes you gotta up the tempo and hit em with Mr. Brightside. Above all, you want your guests to have a blast, and that is exactly what Jordan delivered. His preparation, consideration, and responsiveness to the crowd was top notch and we truly couldn’t imagine having anyone else DJ for us. *Cue the sirens* YOU’RE IN TORNADO JALLY NOW BISH.

e on the dance floor until the very end. I highly recommend Jordan as your DJ!

good! He was super helpful/knowledgeable about everything involving the ceremony & reception and helped fine tune our schedule for the day. His energy was immaculate at our wedding & our dance floor was packed the entire night. Our guests ares still raving about it!! We loved that he played a mix of the songs on our playlist as well as songs to keep the crowd dancing. We (and our guests) ESPECIALLY loved how responsive he was to guest requests! Would recommend Jordan to anyone and everyone - all around great guy & DJ!!!

en't forgotten that night. Jordan is the best wedding DJ in the country, and I will die on that hill. The fact that he creates a custom playlist tailored to your music taste is fantastic. He's incredible on the mic, knows how to keep the energy up all night long, and keeps the evening flowing seamlessly. Our dance floor was packed for over three hours of his set. It felt like a movie. Watching Jordan DJ is like watching a performance. You never know what he's going to play next, but you know he won't let you down. Stop looking for mediocre talent. BOOK JORDAN!!

he went above and beyond to coordinate ceremony music and making sure everything went smooth with sound all day. Cannot recommend him enough!!

wedding, but I was thrilled when my fiancé told me this was the direction he wanted to go. Jordan's energy is infectious - he was down for every idea we had (we def bonded when I asked him to play the entire Emotion album by CRJ and he was just as hyped as we were!!!), he arrived super early to make sure all the equipment was ready to go, and he somehow managed to get just about every guest on our dance floor. He knows how to read a crowd, and somehow plays exactly the song that'll bring people right back to the party when their energy starts to fade. Plus he's just the coolest, most genuine guy. After a single conversation with him we felt like he knew us, understood the vibe we were going for, and totally supported us. We love Jordan forever!!!!

us but also fun for everyone else. Jordan struck this balance perfectly. We got ENDLESS compliments! The other thing we truly loved about Jordan is that he is 100% himself -- there is no 'vendor to client' barrier ... he's just, like, a real dude who loves what he does and wants you to love your big day. We felt like we became friends with him throughout the process, had fun working with him, and trusted that he had our back. And on the actual day, he maintained an excellent balance of 'get stuff done' and 'have a great time' mentality. Cannot recommend him enough. Would hire him again and again and again!

dings!

We were able to meet with Jordan a few times before our wedding to talk about the vibes that we were hoping for and to create a playlist of songs that we liked which really helped make our dance feel extra personalized! We also really appreciated the way that Jordan helped us prepare for our day by asking the right questions ahead of time so there were no surprises on the day of. We couldn't stay off the dance floor all night and our guests had a great time too! Overall, Jordan knocked it out of the park! Thanks for helping us celebrate love Jordan!

me up to us asking for his information and guests texted the next day to say how sore they were from dancing all night. Jordan took our input seriously. He played everything we wanted him to and also did NOT play anything we DIDN'T want him to. He reads the room expertly and he plays what people want to hear. He's also flexible and can adapt to the situation; in our case the bride was feeling ill during dinner and Jordan pivoted speeches/dancing/first dance without our guests even noticing. Overall we cannot recommend Jordan enough. If you care about having a fun, active reception with people on the dance floor there is nobody else you could possibly book.

wanted to put towards our DJ. To be honest, I've never been a wedding where I've loved or really remembered the DJ at all. This was not the case at all with Jordan. From the moment we started working with him, we knew this was the right fit. He had a great, laidback energy about him, but was also really listening to what our expectations for our dance floor were - you can tell he takes his craft seriously and tries very hard to individualize the experience per couple. Any time we had a question leading up to the wedding, he responded back in a timely manner, which was super helpful. But the best part about him was obviously his skills on the day of. When I tell you AT LEAST half of our guests came up to us to tell how much they loved our DJ or commented on it afterwards, I'm not kidding. They had a great reason to be raving too - he was amazing. He really understood how to read the room, engage with the guests, and kept the bops going - one of our biggest regrets was not extending the dance floor for longer because we didn't want the night to end. We also had him be our MC for the night and he was awesome – brought a great energy to the room, but still very natural and authentic. If you're thinking about hiring Jordan, let this be a sign to stop thinking about it and just do it - I promise you won't regret it!

ing to Jordan. Jordan is the best of the best. My husband and I were very much looking forward to our dance and Jordan absolutely delivered (better than I could have even imagined). There's a reason that when you say Jordan's name, every vendor we worked with's face lit up. He's just the best. Not only is he an insanely talented DJ, but his vibes are unmatched. It is very obvious how much he cares about each and every one of his couples. If you hire Jordan for your wedding or event, consider yourself extremely lucky!!

he night. His playlist was amazing — he has such an eye (and ear!) for understanding what music to play and when, keeping the energy high and the dance floor full all night long. Beyond being a talented DJ, Jordan was also an incredible MC who helped keep everything running smoothly and on schedule without ever feeling forced. His vibe, attention to detail, and upbeat personality made him a total standout. If you’re looking for someone who can set the perfect tone, read the crowd effortlessly, and make your event unforgettable, Jordan is your guy. Hands down, the best in town!

ny compliments about his work on the dance floor from guests of all ages. His mixing and transition work was spot on - nothing was played too long and he read the room exactly right, adjusting as needed to keep the party going. As people who have been to a lot of weddings, a DJ can make or break the dance floor vibe - and our only complaint is that every future wedding we go to won’t be as fun if he is not the DJ. He even had some of our engaged friends questioning their already-booked DJs! We are so happy we hired Jordan. Photos by Adrian Steinbach Photography.

ght away and it never stopped. We told him we love hip-hop and went to college in the 2010s, and he absolutely delivered. Every song hit perfectly. He’s also such a pro. We had family members sing during our ceremony, and he rehearsed with them ahead of time to make sure they felt comfortable. He also helped us choose some of our songs and created special mixes for our parent dances and first dance, which made those moments feel so personal and unique. Throughout the night he was in touch with us to make sure the timing flowed perfectly, and he even brought extra equipment to make sure the sound was great in our space. The dance floor lights were so fun, and the music was truly banger after banger. It was so fun to watch him having a great time too. If the dance floor is a top priority for you, don’t hesitate to hire Jordan. He’s the real deal. We are still getting compliments on how fun our wedding was and how amazing the dance floor was.

r day special. He struck the right balance between professional and laid-back, which made the planning process very smooth. During the wedding, Jordan absolutely delivered. The music was on point from start to finish, and he kept the energy up all night. Guests kept coming up to us throughout the evening and even afterward to say how great our DJ was. Jordan read the crowd perfectly, kept the dance floor full, and created an atmosphere that felt joyful and memorable. If you're looking for someone who’s talented, easygoing, and knows how to keep the party going, Jordan is the best choice!

parts of our wedding day and you will not regret hiring him. He played only songs that matched our vibe but also kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end. He's top tier.

super responsive and brought all the great vibes. When so many pieces of wedding planning can be stressful, he made it so easy. He was on point with all his music/ceremony/reception/timing recs and knew exactly what to do to keep people on the dance floor all night. He was also great at figuring out what we wanted upfront and then when someone requested Cupid Shuffle at the wedding, he came and asked me if that was okay and I was like “uhhhh” and he knew immediately that meant no - and without even having to say the word, he was on it. We had multiple attendees ask for his info for their future weddings/events and our coordinators (Dos Goats) are also obsessed with him which made everything so seamless and fun. Thank you, Jordan, for everything!!!

do). Jordan made sure to keep our must plays in mind while also playing to the crowd - it made for a dance floor no one wanted to get off! Jordan was on time, professional, but most importantly a genuinely good person! We love you and cannot recommend you enough 🩷

aving just as much fun as we were, getting everyone involved and keeping the energy sky-high. The vibe was perfect from start to finish, and days later everyone was still talking about how amazing he was. Finding out he’s a Timberwolves fan was just the cherry on top. Absolute legend! Naz Reid.

say we made the right call! He made everything so easy and stress-free. As soon as he played first song, I knew we made the right choice. It truly felt like he created a custom set tailored exclusively to my partner and I's tastes. He totally nailed the mix of EDM and punk we were going for and somehow made it work in a way that kept everyone dancing, even if they weren’t into those genres. He knows how to read the room and keep the vibe going. Beyond just being an awesome DJ, Jordan also handled the emceeing like a pro. He kept everything flowing smoothly and helped calm some of our speakers who were a little nervous. His friendly, relaxed energy made everything feel laid-back and fun — exactly what we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only talented but also easy to work with, Jordan’s your guy. He made our day unforgettable!

dding DJ I have ever seen, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. The music, transitions, and overall vibe were perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

an absolutely KILLED it!!!! SO many people after the wedding told me how good our DJ was and how much fun the dance floor was! We needed a bigger dance floor because Jordan did such a good job keeping everyone going! A few friends asked me for his contact info after the wedding to book him for theirs! 11/10 couldn't recommend more!!!!

that kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

phone call, I was 100% confident he would do an amazing job, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! He nailed the timing on all our songs, and everything sounded perfect. We even had our best man’s speech recorded, and Jordan made sure the audio was loud and clear for everyone. His energy was contagious throughout the entire wedding, and he was such a pleasure to work with. We can't say enough good things about him both as a person and as a DJ. We’ll be recommending Jordan to everyone we know getting married, he truly made our day unforgettable!

us he has an awesome photo booth that provides a nice breather from all the dancing. Not to mention he also truly cares about his couples and making the day special for them, we felt so supported by him throughout the whole process - he’s the GOAT for a reason!!! GO WOLVES AND GO LYNX

ter banger, and we had dozens of people tell us both during and after the wedding that the DJ was one of the best they’ve ever experienced. Jordan was also fantastic as the MC, hyping people up and keeping things flowing. He is super responsive and easy to work with. He is a true professional! Hiring Jordan was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and it wouldn’t have been the same without him!

ll keep your reception moving, dance floor full, and treat your day with the care and expertise it deserves. I have lost count of the amount of guests who told us how awesome our DJ was; he truly made our day. He is nothing less than a master of his craft and has an uncanny ability to create and maintain the energy of the dance floor through song choices that are at once familiar, surprising, and exciting in the best way. He is adaptable and will work with you to understand your vision, will go with the flow, and will maintain professionalism throughout the wedding. His only goal is to make the day special for the couple, and I wouldn’t trust or recommend anyone else higher!

d the music. The dance floor was vibrant all night, and several of our guests mentioned to us how much they loved the music. Jordan was so easy to work with and helped make our wedding unforgettable. I'd highly recommend getting him for your wedding or other event!

ng with vendors can feel super serious at times, but with Jordan he immediately gave us a chill peace of mind while maintaining extreme professionalism. He was so easy to work with and everyone at our wedding loved him! He reads the room and transitions songs with such ease. There was never a lull and he kept the dance floor packed all night. If you want a high-energy dance floor everyone will talk about it: invest in a real DJ like Jordan!
